... I'm not that kind of person, Knuckles. And besides, I don't know your species that well--why would I risk harming you more by drugging you? Not to mention, doing that sort of thing behind your back... that'd be betraying your trust.

[Donatello blinks in surprise and then... rubs the back of his head.]

He's.. never not been able to give me the okay when I've had medication available. Or other people were in control of his care. We're pretty good with handling pain, so it hasn't really come up all that often.

Actually... [He grins softly.] I sometimes suggest painkillers or medication with a second option so that he'll veto the meds but let me do the second. He hasn't figured that out yet.
