My brother was murdered. What they said happened and presented in court didn't match the facts. So I thought if I could get my hands on that evidence, I'd be able to figure out what actually happened...

Things ended up going poorly and I wound up interfering with an investigation into a man's death. I did finally get to learn the truth, Pardner, but after I turned myself in.

I'm not saying I don't belong where I was; I did break the law.

This doesn't change my opinion of you Jake, things went wrong and you took responsibility for your actions.
