Well, I don't know if it'll work. There's something about this fog- the Detector might be able to pinpoint the emeralds location but, getting to it might be a problem.

If no one knows it's location, it can't slip out plus I'm pretty sure no one else around here knows what they are or what they can do.

I know the fog is a problem, but I still have to try. I'll just keep going until I find it.

Rouge knows they're here. And with people ending up in random locations there's a good chance someone might just trip over it.
I can't risk that Tails.

Yeah, it sort falls into the theory of a Dimensional Plane- a world point of origin and universes spreading out. If you superimpose the Cartesian Coordinate idea on to it, then it's pretty clear.
